Tint FAQ

Window Tint Questions.

What is the darkest legal tint in Manitoba?

Front side windows must allow at least 50% light transmission. Rear side and rear windshield can be any darkness on multi-passenger vehicles. We can advise on legal combinations during your consultation.

How long does a full tint install take?

A typical sedan takes 2–3 hours, SUVs and trucks 3–4 hours. Ceramic films require slightly more cutting and shrink time.

Will tint shatter or bubble in Winnipeg winters?

No — our ceramic films are rated for extreme thermal cycling from -40°C to +85°C. Improperly installed dyed films from low-end shops are what cause bubbling, not the cold itself.

Can I tint my front windshield?

A clear ceramic strip at the top is allowed, and our 70% Crystalline ceramic film is also windshield-legal — it rejects up to 60% of total solar energy without changing how the glass looks.
