Paint Protection Film

Invisible Armor.

A self-healing, optically clear urethane film that takes the rock chips your paint shouldn't have to.

Impact Zones

Where Paint Gets Hurt.

Eighty percent of paint damage happens in six specific zones. Targeted PPF coverage stops it before it starts.

Hood leading edge
Direct gravel impacts at highway speed — the #1 chip area.
Front bumper
Curb scrapes, parking strikes, low-speed gravel rolls.
Mirror caps
Stone deflection from front tires hits mirrors constantly.
Rocker panels
Tire-thrown debris and salt slurry from winter roads.
Door cups
Fingernail marks from daily ingress/egress wear through clearcoat.
Rear arch
Stone chips thrown rearward by front tires onto the quarter panel.

Film Technology

The Science Of Self-Healing.

Self-Healing Topcoat

Elastomeric polyurethane closes light swirls and scratches when exposed to sunlight or hot water.

Hydrophobic Layer

Top-grade films include a factory ceramic-infused topcoat — water beads, bugs wipe off easily.

Stain Block

Engineered to resist yellowing from UV, sap, brake dust and road tar over 10+ years.

Computer-Cut Patterns

Vehicle-specific templates from a vetted plotter library — no blade ever touches your paint.

Wrapped Edges. No Lifting.

Every WPEG PPF install wraps edges into jambs, door shuts and under trim panels wherever the geometry allows — eliminating dirt lines and the visible film perimeter cheap installers leave behind.

PPF FAQ

Film Questions.

How is PPF different from ceramic coating?

PPF is a physical film 8 mils thick — it absorbs impacts. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer microns thick — it adds gloss, hydrophobics and stain resistance but offers zero impact protection. The best builds use both.

Can you see the edges of the film?

On most modern panels we wrap edges into door jambs, around lamps and into trims so the film becomes invisible. On bolt-on panels with no clean wrap line, a faint razor-thin edge is visible up close — never from arm's length.

Does PPF damage the paint when removed?

Quality film like XPEL or STEK removes cleanly within its 10-year window without lifting OEM paint. Aftermarket repaints and damaged clearcoat are the only exceptions and are inspected before install.

How do I wash a PPF-wrapped car?

Same as any other car — pH-neutral soap, microfiber. Avoid pressure washers within 6 inches of any edge for the first week.

What does the warranty cover?

Yellowing, lifting, bubbling and cracking for 10 years. Impact damage to the film itself is not covered (it's doing its job).
